Repetitive Focused Strategy

Repetitive-Focused Strategy is the second type, from types of Process Strategies. The characteristics : facilities often organized by assembly lines, characterized by modules (Parts & assemblies made previously), and modules combined for many output options. Other names : assembly line or production line.

Considerations of Repetitive Focused Strategy :

1. More structured than process-focused, less structured than product focused.

2. Enables quasi-customization.

3. Using modules, it enjoys economic advantage of continuous process, and custom advantage of low-volume, high-variety model.

Examples of Repetitive-Focused Strategy : clothes dryer, truck and fast food.
