I have created a flow chart for the design and analysis of MIS (Management Information Systems) with DFD modeling. DFD is the first step. The database is a collection of data based on the data dictionary. Some software can be used to create the database is mySQL and Microsoft Access. Techniques to create a database in order to effectively and efficiently is called normalization. The user interface is a display of MIS applications, built on the programming language. Some examples of computer programming language that can be used include : Delphi, Visual Basic, Cobol, C++, java.

That must be considered in the selection of databases and user interfaces are the conditions and needs. This type of stand-alone or network computers, how many users, the report prints, and computer specs. Zahir acounting is one example of the MIS for financially, some for personal needs, some corporations. Other examples : MIS for registration in the hospital, MIS for warehouse inventory.
